Noto, the “Stone Garden”, pearl of the Baroque period, UNESCO Heritage Site. Founded in the 9th century b.C. and completely destroyed during the earthquake of 1963, the town has been rebuilt during the first decades of 18th century, reaching the top of the Baroque: buildings lavishly decorated with a sumptuous scenographic sense and a gorgeous chromatic sense. Among the most important monuments, you can visit the Cathedral with its stairwayand some of the 39 churches of the town.
